...about the immaterial labor and subsistence economy aspect of stand-like activities being pressured into more concrete exchange-value forms in order to be trafficked in "gentrified" zones, cultural institutions etc. how that migration helps or betrays the desires of certain projects. i really liked the booklet published for the exhibition "atelier europa" at kunstverein munich. although the fashion in it was not my cup of tea, it's interesting able to consider the labor choices of the berlin designers in relation to personal experiences with various informal communities in new york from 1994 to present. i'm interested in what defines freelance work as well as the marketing of conceptual art's immaterial aspect. what shape the project takes will depend on who is confirmed to be involved.
