Ladies and Gentlemen,

By the agency of yours, we would like to inform students of your School about the self-portrait competition, which is prepared by our Museum and to encourage them to participation in that.

The Regional Museum in Stalowa Wola runs very wide exhibition, publishing and educational activity. The exhibitions of Polish, European and World Art are treated as priority, here. One of our ventures is the international competition for students of artistic schools “Self-portrait”, which has got its fifth edition now, and beside Poland, includes also: Ukraine, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Belarus, Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Holland, Ireland, Moldova, Germany, Norway, Russia, Switzerland, Sweden, Hungary and Great Britain.

The Jury, with some outstanding Polish artists in it, under chairmanship of Tomasz Tatarczyk, rates its standard highly. In this year the Grand Prix Prize will be about 2 500 euro. The best works will be showed on exhibition after the competition in our Museum, and also will be published in the catalogue, in the artistic “AR Teon?” monthly and another Polish media and Internet, too. That guarantee promotion for young, talented artist.

We are sending you regulations of the competition and we have a favour to ask you put them forward students of your School, with encouragement to participation in the competition.
